First i'll get the tip out of the way just in case you don't want to read the other stuff. I heard about this from Stefan from HowToLucid I think during the livestream 2 or 3 days ago. Do not try to use your muscles and "jump" into flying, this is because you normally associate using your muscles and jumping with gravity and the fact that you obviously will come back down. Instead, "lift" yourself off the ground. I did push a little bit off the ground but I did not jump.
This morning I had a pretty mundane nightmare but I realized I was dreaming. I flew for the first time and tried other stuff. I couldn't get finger guns to work for some reason which sucked because I wanted to shoot my cat (don't worry I love her in real life). After I flew around, I had a FA (I think, I can't really remember the bed, this happened twice). I couldn't breathe when I did the nose pinch and couldn't push my finger through my palm but I knew it was a dream so I checked a calendar and it was off so I knew it was a dream. Then another FA and I was able to do RC's properly and I went off flying again. Would you count this as 3 Lucid Dreams tonight or just 1 with 2 FAs? Also I really need to work on dream recall as when I woke up I knew I had a lucid dream but couldn't remember anything at first.
