This has been happening for the past three mornings. I set my first alarm to wake me up with a loud annoying old phone ring. After it wakes me up I turn it off, get up and drink water, and go back to sleep. The next alarm I have set for thirty minutes later and it's a more gentle but still loud wind chime. After that one wakes me up I hit the snooze, fall back asleep and I repeat that three or four times. In the snooze time that I am asleep I have very clear LDs. The softer wind chime alarm is what keeps me in the sweet spot where I can fall back into a dream state and also be conscious of what's happening. Anyone else do this?
