I would say that about half of my dreams are what you might call bad dreams or emotionally negative dreams. Dreams that don't feel good in that I want to wake up from.
A challenge I've been having lately is that once I realize I am lucid, I get to the state where I can only describe it as dreaming within a dream.
When that dream within a dream is a bad one that I want to wake up from, I end up having to wake up twice. I wake up into the initial dream, but then still feel stuck. And it takes me a minute or so to wake up for real and regain consciousness.
Has anyone here dealt with anything similar? Do you have any tips for waking all the way up?
