Finding out I’m a lucid dreamer

Post Body

My first lucid dream was probably a decade ago. I dreamed I was riding my bicycle through a very green town in the outskirts of my city and I think I saw someone flying or something like that and I told them “Let me try it”. I went back to the top of a hill and started FLYING and it was the best feeling and sensation of my life. During the whole dream I was aware I was in a dream and I remember telling myself to take over the dream so I could experience flying myself.

Life passed and now I’m engaged. I woke up one night and told my fiancée about this horrible dream I had and I’m quoting: “…at this point I woke myself up because it was too bad”. She interrupted me and asked me what did I mean by waking myself up. I answered as it was the most common thing and asked her If she couldn’t do it. We had a whole conversation that lead into googling all of this and that’s when I realized I have lucid dreams.

My question now is, what do you all do the have them? Can you even do anything? I just want to know more information about this from people who actually do it.
