Hi y'all.

It has been a while since I posted an update here, but dont worry i've been doing a lot of stuff in the background.

Mainly with this T-shirt spammer that you guys may or may not have spotted on this and other champion subreddits.

These T-shirt spammers have been plagueing us ChampionMains wide for months now. Banning or poolbanning them doesnt change anything since they always come back on new fresh accounts. (note, these shirts link to scam links. Do not click any of these)

I've recently considered a few options that I could implement here to combat the spammers as much as possible and i'll go over them with you guys.

1. Limiting karma to 500 for example.

I decided against this because I want everyone to be able to participate on this sub, both new and old legitimate accounts alike. This change could potentially alienate some of the userbase which i'm against

2. Automatically remove the threads if it meets some trigger words

Now this is the option I decided to go for. Mostly because this still allows everyone to participate while also minimizing the amount of spam from the T-shirt spammer. It's not fully waterproof however and there will be times where the T-shirt spammer will slip trough.

But i'll definitely still keep an close eye on this sub and delete any T-shirt spam thread that goes trough. You guys can also help with that by reporting the thread so it'll catch my eye as soon as I come online.
