Is making a customer complaint even going to help anything at this point?

I had my fridge break nearly two weeks ago and had to buy another. The process of even finding a fridge in stock was a pain itself since everyone seems to be out of everything, but will gladly try to sell me one for delivery a month from now which does me no good.

After driving around tons of appliance retailers in the city (two days of lost work) I finally found a lowes that had a fridge that suited my needs and happened to be in stock. First I buy the fridge and pay for it all up front and go back on my way home (this store was on the other side of the city from where I live), then get a phone call that I have to come back to the store and they cant sell me the fridge. I get to the store and they say it is now marked to be transferred to another store location and need to refund it, eventually they refund me and say I can purchase it again so I do.

It is scheduled for delivery the next day and then the delivery window gets changed late that night by a automated call. Delivery day comes and I never hear from them so I decide to call to make sure they still are since its getting close to the end of the window. Company still says its on its way. Delivery window comes and goes so I call again and now they say they did come but no one was home (obvious lie) so i tell them that isnt true and no one came, they then lie that they called me 3 times and give me a time of 1:10 when they did (again a lie). I tell them I know they are lying now because I have it on my phone records that I spoke with them 14 minutes before that. Suddenly the rep on the phone starts to blame me for how its my fault and says we will have to reschedule a delivery but now refuses to speak to me regarding any further info or how I go about rescheduling.

I call the store and eventually get to speak with a manager who I explain all that has happened to and he sounded annoyed and says he will make some calls and get back to me in about 15-20 mins. A little over an hour goes by so I call again and while I am on hold the manager actually calls me back so I answer it and immediately he is audibly frustrated/angry because he said the delivery company lied to him to and when he called them out on it they did the same thing. He tells me he eventually got in contact with a manager for the delivery company and they are supposed to call me in the next few mins about a reschedule and an appeasement.

An hour and a half goes by so I call the store again and eventually get the manager about 2 hours from when we last spoke. He remembers my name and voice and gets frustrated when he hears the other manager never contacted me. So he says he will have to try to find out for me because at this point neither of us has any idea of where the fridge is or when the next attempt will be.

It was already getting late and I dont hear back from him so I let it go til the next day. The next day I get a call from someone in delivery at lowes and they tell me I had a previously scheduled delivery and the delivery company attempted 3 phone calls but now from a different number than what they mentioned the first time (lying again since their story changed), tell me they can now have it scheduled for the next day (today as of me writing this), but have no idea on a time window. I am given the phone number of the delivery company to choose/find out a time window for delivery. When I call the automated thing starts by saying the fridge is scheduled for delivery "Friday the 3rd" so I'm confused since yesterday was Friday but today is the 3rd. Eventually I speak with a rep again and get a time window, I also ask to know what number or numbers they have as the contact number to which they say mine. When I ask them to remove a secondary number (the one they changed their story to say they called 3 times) they say they have no secondary number and only have mine( again their story changes).

Finally today the delivery day comes and they do call for once and say they are on their way. They get here and now tell me the fridge is broken so they have to leave and the store will have to call me.

This whole process has been a nightmare that has caused me to miss multiple days of work now and in the meantime I still have no fridge which I need because besides storing food I have a 95 year old man living here who needs it for his medications and supplies that require refrigeration.

So at this point I have made tons of calls to the store and delivery company and just feel like it is a waste of time.

Edit: I called the customer service number for lowes and asked if getting the fridge back would be an option and simply having a broken door hinge for the top freezer be repaired was an option (at least this way I would have a fridge in the meantime). Unfortunately they said no and will try to rush a replacement fridge to be delivered, but wont come til Wed at the earliest so I'm still going to be without a fridge at least two and a half weeks possibly more, and will have to miss another day of work for delivery.

Also If I do make a complaint is this going to come back on the people at the store in any way? I do not want to make any trouble for them, especially when they had nothing to do with all these screwups.
