For those who wear aprons, have you ever cut the strings off of your apron and attached suspenders instead?

I was thinking about doing this since my apron is loose and tends to fling forward whenever I lift 5 gallon buckets of paint. I was thinking that I could attach the suspenders in a way that my apron fits closer to my body.
