Wrongfully terminated

Post Body

So, lile the title suggests, i beleieve i was wrongfully terminated this morning over an incorrect email on my absences. The GM pulled me into his office about an hour before the end of my shift and told me i had accrued 9 absences over the past 12 months and due to the attendance policy i had to fired. Well i know for a fact thats not correct. He had stated the most recent absence was a sick call out on october 18th 2024, which is correct. However exactly a week earlier i had this conversation with my night ops supervisors, in which they stated the ASM sent them an email stating i had 6 absences and was to be issues a warning, once again with october 18th being the most recent. The email they receieved did in fact say i had 6 and showed the corresponding dates as proof. We all clicked the acknowledgment on the email, bullshitted for a few, and went on about our night with no hurt feelings. Now, seeing as i know for a fact i only had 6 absences and was not in jeporady of losing my job, what can i realistocally do here? Can i dispute this with proof and get my job back? Or would it be wiser to file a wrongful termination claim and go about looking for another job in the meantime?
