But because the weapons testing range is set up by the Super Earth authorities all of the "detailed, highly realistic" targets are based on hilarious propaganda about the enemy being pathetic, so even the lowest power weapons can destroy a tank's front armor because obviously Super Earth makes the best munitions and Helldivers are the best soldiers, so therefore they can easily demolish a factory strider with the redeemer pistol.
That way us Helldivers still have to try figure out how to actually fight these heavily armored enemies in the field with swarms of bots and bugs breathing down our neck, so finding things like the "charger leg meta" is still organic and a little tricky.
And of course we can still benefit from the range by learning the basics of how different weapons function by watching the recoil patterns, blast radius, reload times, ect as well as getting to play with some of the weapons or stratagems we haven't unlocked yet to see what we want to get first.
IMO thats what basically all the "Kill 2 hulks" and "Kill a bile titan" missions are. You don't need a testing range to practice killing fodder.
