Now that we are less than two weeks out of a new season and subclass, I'll share how I have learned to wait for arc 3.0 off of the other two 3.0 subclasses.
Waiting strategy: Know that whatever it is, the 3.0 system will have enough room for build crafting that anything will be better than what we currently have.
Going into void 3.0, I was a hunter main. Not as avid as others who had lists of things they wanted changed for 3.0, but fairly avid. When void 3.0 came out, I spent the first week playing stasis because I was so upset with how void came out. A couple months later though, and I was having a blast with nightstalker, because I could combine some of the aspects of the old tree system, even if it took longer to buildcraft. I also transitioned into a Titan main after branching out and having fun with sentinel, which is how I waited for Solar 3.0.
When solar 3.0 rolled around, I was a little underwhelmed with what Titan got. I liked consecration and the fragments were neat, but it started to get bland quick. But much like nightstalkers, I started to find ways to build craft and follow others' suggestions and it became a fresh and new start.
With Arc 3.0, I imagine it will be much of the same. It may be a little underwhelming at first, but as we all dive into it and figure out builds, it'll become more and more fun. With the level of customization for current arc subclasses, it isn't possible for this to happen. So whatever it is, it will be better than what we have now.
