Im as of writing this doing a paper for my college class on my author family tree. Those who I would say I inherit or are inspired to write stories from. Mike Pondsmith (who I am forever indebted to and is the reason I am pursuing narrative design as my major so I can write lore and build worlds for games) is one of those people for me. He and J R R Tolkein saved me from a very dark choice in my teenage years and I am still here today because of them. I wanted to not only share my opinion in a place that I hope he still frequents but also to ask others who have talked with him before what his creative process is. I have always been enthralled by his worlds and I want to just satisfy that designer itch of knowing what made these worlds form. I apologize if I have overstepped in any fashion by asking this question here.
