Something that has bothered me is how they claim these are famous footballers when not all are the same. There are levels to this shit. So here is the real ranking from most famous to less so.

1 - Marco - It was between him and Ryan but I would Put Marco at #1. The dude is extremely well know in Mexico and the US. He has pedigree in terms of championships, World cups, and Olympic gold. Cover of FIFA, etc. he has some fame in Germany and Qatar. Countries he has played for that matter. So there is a reason why the producers put him on dates in crowded places. They needed someone with real fame, something the other 4 don’t have at least in the US. Sadly due to the language barrier he wasn’t better in the show but the producers used his fame.

2 - Ryan - In terms of fame, he’s more well known in Europe than the US. You can have him walking on Rodeo drive and no one would know who he is. But he did play in some big clubs and settled in Turkey. So he has a high level of fame in Europe. I out Marco above him simply due to the fame in the US and how the producers needed Marco but both are similar in game.

3 - Jamie - his level of fame isn’t the same since he’s retired. He played in a mid level club but he has that UK fame. Not international at all. Just local to the country. His Radio show keeps him relevant but in terms our outside fame, he has none. But he knows ball. That’s why he kept praising Marco and Ryan. He knows they were the legit stars.

Now here is where it gets interesting because the two main guys of the show are the less famous BY FAR. So every time they talked to the camera about their fame and played the girls my blood was boiling.

4 - Lloyd - This kid has fame only in the small town where his lower division team plays. He plays in such a division that the game is only local to a city. Not the UK as a whole. A baseball player in AAA baseball or a Canada Football league player has more fame than him. His interactions with women in real life who know he’s a footballer shouldn’t be any different if he was a cab driver. Because his fame is non existent. A 60k followers instagram account is more famous than him.

5 - Sebastián - This dude is the worst of them all. He has played…..scratch that. Been on lower divisions teams all his life on the bench. Warming it really nice. So when he got mad at Estef for not keeping shit to herself because “as a footballer you need discretion”. This mother fucker. His level of fame is so minuscule is ridiculous. The only thing he has it’s family money. But in terms of fame, he can walk the streets of Mexico City where he’s from and no one would know who he is. They know his dad, but him. He’s a nobody.

So there you have it. When you know the level of real fame with these guys, you see the show in a different light. You see these people and their actions differently. That’s why I hate Lloyd and Sebastian. The arrogance of these two who have not made it in the sport they claim are famous for.
