I'm almost halfway through season 2. The first few moments of the beginning of season 2 episode 3 with Connor's family around the table it was really eye-opening. He was clearly overwhelmed with the prospect of matching with someone and just not really knowing how to feel. The gentleness, understanding, and willingness to get him to a better place that his family showed specifically his mom. It just was wonderful and so wholesome. Moments like that definitely give me faith in humanity.
I wasn't sure that I would love the show. I am autistic myself. I'm higher functioning so this has really been insightful and I'm not going to lie. I've had some judgments about some people, but I'm so glad I was willing to keep watching and just try and understand them and their struggles when it comes to dating, communicating and connecting.
