Perfect Match on Netflix vs Love Island USA?

For me personally, I stopped watching Perfect Match season 2 after episode 3 because it was honestly becoming unwatchable; there were maybe 1 or 2 cast members that were likeable; but the rest were just insufferable.

I’m currently watching Season 6, and I think the difference between these shows are night and day.

The Islanders on Love Island are a lot more likeable (most of the girls and some of the guys) unlike the super-influencers from previous Netflix shows on Perfect Match.

And I think there was more effort put into the connections made between each couple on Love Island vs highly manufactured pairing being made on perfect match.

Even when there’s drama on Love Island, I tolerated and somewhat more invested because of the effort being made in forming connections; Perfect Match’s drama just feels like a bad acid trip because I can’t believe anyone on that Netflix show are putting any real effort in making connections (and some of them act real dumb… makes the “stupid” people on Love Island look like geniuses in comparison)

After just 3 episodes of season 6, I am already hungry for more Love Island than Perfect Match.
