We’ve been railing about the girls this season but honestly I’ve been really enjoying that the guys are just that tad bit more likable this year than the ladies.
We’ve seen a shitty crop of guys for season after season, and it’s honestly a bit of a relief to see that 1) there are guys out there that can be (relatively) more likable and less toxic and 2) that women can be villains too, or that women can succumb to groupthink and then get burned themselves by it.
It goes to show that casting makes a huge difference — and all we need is a slight tipping of the scales toward the more likable ladies to have a really likable cast in the future. It also goes to show that women are human too, and can be good, bad, and everything in the middle.
Thoughts y’all?
