Bartholomew and his sister's views on raising disabled children is extremely short sighted

They go on about how sad it would be to abort a fetus with disabilities, but he doesnt seem like the kind of person that would stick around for his whole life to take care of someone like that. I dont think he realizes how much commitment it takes and how draining it is. Even when Nancy gives her perspective, he still doesnt get it.
