Nancy’s stance on aborting a pregnancy bc the child has medical issues, is certainly something that should have been discussed in the pods. They obviously have a fundamental difference in this. The baby’s life seems less valuable to her than to him when the baby is disabled or has challenges. When it comes to dating, this should be discussed early on, bc this kinds of difference in view could be a deal breaker. I do think they handled the tough discussion in a more mature way, probably bc Nancy says “ya” a lot while also holding firm in her beliefs. I disagree with her, and think it comes across as ableism. Plenty of children born with disabilities have given their parents rewarding lives even when more difficult. They still love their children. Their life matters too.
