So I'm watching the S5 reunion and I'm at the part where Taylor addressed JP's weird comments about her makeup, and the host Nick Lachey said "I think what he was trying to say was that you're beautiful without makeup" ummm no Nick. That statement is fine in itself but in context I do not believe that's what JP was saying, I believe it was a cop out for the emotions he couldn't handle and he came up with something on the spot. It didn't even make sense in the moment or contextually to the conversation. Taylor was aware of that and so were some of the viewers (me). So Mr. Host do no cosign or try to explain for him, no one needed that. Yes it was a minor addition that I'm sure he meant no harm by but in a way it invalidated the whole interaction.
