Relatively new in Town

Is there a big issue with the post office here that I should be privy to? I’ve been here since December & so far I’ve had three packages disappear. No one can tell me where they are. The newest one was a cell phone I had paid off and sent to my baby sister to have. I’ve never had anything lost or stolen (just damaged) whenever shipping stuff anywhere else. Anyone having similar issues or is it just me?
