Help me with a project: seeking Louisville-specific references

Louisville is a unique place, and we can all name a few things that are special to Louisville or originated here. I am working on a project and need EVERYTHING YOU GOT, especially the things that are more on the positive/unique/weird side (we all know the bad stuff is here, too).
Examples:
- Big-name exports: Muhammad Ali, Derby, bourbon
- Locals know it: disco balls, modjeskas, happy birthday song
- Deep cuts: Muhammad Ali allegedly threw his Olympic gold medal off the 2nd Street Bridge into the Ohio River in 1960.
