The company I work for handles many business functions for lotteries across the USA, such as the ticket vending machines and kiosks you see in gas stations and grocery stores, scratcher tickets, as well as online lottery games. This includes your Pick 3/4/5's, KENO, Fast Play, and the many derivative games that come in that product line. We also directly deal with MUSL who oversee big multi state games like Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, etc.
Have any questions or anything you're just overall curious about from a lottery worker? While not every state operates exactly the same, i'm confident I can answer many burning questions one might have. AMA!
EDIT: This was a lot of fun everyone, but thats all for now its time for me to go to bed!
My question is this, if I win do I even have to scan my ticket? Sometimes I just buy and lose my tickets but I’ll see on the news someone in x place won.
