Cappie and JJ have been trading stiff shot after stiff shot for around ten minutes. Any time Cappie seemed to be gaining momentum in the match JJ was there to cut him off. Picking up at the end of a particular bad sequence for Cappie we see him looking like hes out on his feet holding his hand out reach for one of JJ's boots.

JJ: Just stay down Cappie. We both know how this ends. There's no shame in that. Think about what you have in front of you on Sunday.

Cappie now up to his knees looks up at JJ and listening to what he says. Looking up at the man Cappie shook his head breathing heavy looking like he could fall over and drop dead at any second.

Cappie: Screw you JJ.

JJ looks down at Cappie and sighs as he picks Cappie up and gets him back on his feet looking angry and a little bit tormented that this time he just couldn't keep Cappie down. Going to throw a super kick Cappie some how managed to duck at the very last second catching JJ in the gut with a quick body shot. Seeing his chance of finally putting away his oldest opponent Cappie hoists JJ up to his shoulders and soon connects with a go to sleep. Cappie drops down in exhaustion but manages to hook the leg as the ref counts three. For a second Cappie can't believe that he's won as he looks shocked as the ref tries to hold his hand up even tho he's still laying on the ground. After a second Cappie gets to his knees and looks around still not able to believe he had won. Looking across the ring in the corner he sees JJ sitting up looking a bit frustrated. Walking over Cappie holds out his hand the two men exchanging fist bumps.

Rolling out of the ring Cappie is greeted on the stage by Bayla Kraxton.

Bayla Kraxton: Cappie congratulations. You said how much this match would mean to you can you tell us what you're feeling?

Cappie: Hat's off to JJ he hung in there with me obviously. That guy's a stud. Tonight I proved what I've been saying I'm just as good still as the top guys. That I can still get the job done. I'm going into the elimination chamber Sunday and I'm winning that title and I'm going to Smackdown. No one want this more then me right now. It's weird I'm a hall of famer, and yet I feel like I have everything to prove just like when I was a rookie. Come Sunday I'm shutting down every one who said that it was a fluke that I won the title all those years ago and I shut down the meme of oh Cappie no showed or disappeared. Rest assured you are getting the best Cappie that has been in this company. So send who ever you want to try and stop me, but don't send anyone you want to be sent back! Now excuse me I'm gonna go pass out backstage I'm pretty sure I'm dying right now.

Cappie then begins to limp to the back as the screen then cut back to the commentators highlighting the match.
