it's Monday night Raw, shortly after the show has started in a lull between the action. The commentators are talking about the night's action before Besty's music hits. Out Swaggers the self anointed voice of Legion - BestInBounds dressed in a full black three piece suit with microphone in hand, he eases his way down the ramp and steps into the ring.

Monday night Raw, how good is it to be back.

The Crowd pops

The answer to that question is - not very good. But I digress, I am here after all for one reason. To issue reminders and quieten the noise. It seems there is a general mood amongst some within the LLR locker room that there is a rift in Legion post Clash of Champions. That all of a sudden, there are cracks showing within Legion - and maybe, just maybe we'll finally fade away into obscurity.

I take particular joy in telling you all to keep waiting because Legion is not going anywhere. Furthermore not only are we not going anywhere anytime soon, we will continue to dominate LLR in ways unseen in the modern era. You have your BTN's, Ichiban Era's, Sin Machine's, Revelry's, Mad Dog's and other fraud's that come and go throughout history. You have rookie's such as Teddy and Fernand who ascend to such grandiose heights so very quickly, and then fall just as fast. Tag teams form and tag teams divorce, whether it is personal ambition, hubris or a combination of both. Other Factions come and go, people come and go, tag teams come and go - but in LLR there remains one constant. Legion.

Throughout all the upheaval that LLR has seen Legion leads through it all. When we are written off Legion finds a way to survive, it scratches and claws in the darkness where nobody looks and when they least expect it Legion bursts forth from the shadows. We did it at the Royal Rumble, we did it at Summerslam and because LLR never learns from the past we will no doubt do it again. Because Legion extends pasts the purely material, Legion is not one person nor is it just one group of people. Legion is a concept forged in the blast furnaces of unrelenting excellence and total domination, there isn't a stone left unturned nor an avenue left unexplored if we covet it, we will posses it. If we want it - we've got it and currently what we want - is gold. Whether that gold is Intercontinental, Open weight or until recently Pacific. Amongst our ranks are former IC champions, former US Champions, former World Champions. We are decorated tag and trios specialists, the most fearsome trios and tag teams LLR has ever seen fought under our Banner. Legion has the most accumulated talent in LLR history, but if accolades aren't your measure of success then perhaps Longevity will suffice.

As a rookie I was told to beware old men in a profession where men die young, and if I were to borrow this parable then I'd warn you all to beware an old faction in a profession where others die quickly. We are now the oldest faction in LLR, we have seen kings rise and we have seen them fall just as quickly. For both the coronation and the funeral Legion has stood the test of time and while many of our founding members are not with us today the flag flies higher than it ever has before. Time never catches up because we don't let it, we adapt, we move with the game. That is the difference between us and you. Change is a part of life and Legion has never been afraid of it, and nor will we ever. Because it doesn't matter how many shocks to the foundation of LLR occur - Legion will be right here, constantly reinventing itself.

Besty points to his suit

Instead of clowning around getting cheap laughs for hentai jokes. It's the difference between you hanging on to my every word and me being a cheap comedy skit on Raw. It's why, I am now the crown prince of Charisma - not Besty the Hentai Guy. But here's the beautiful thing about reinvention, It doesn't mean completely forgetting the past, in fact it's defined as " to change (something) so much that it appears to be entirely new. " I won't forget who I was, nor do I want to. My past served a purpose, it still does serve that purpose and I wouldn't be here today without it. I use that past to strengthen my own resolution to ensure that every day I am the best wrestler any of you have ever seen. Legion is a bit like me in that regard, and although we constantly reinvent ourselves the core ideals we hold on to, they exist at the centre of all that we do and seek to achieve.

So these latest rumours may cease desist and die in the rabid orfice from whence they were spouted. Because once again the IC title remains in Legion's hands, once again Hawk defended his US title and coming very soon I will once again be given a shot at pruef and I promise you all I will not miss. Strength breed strength, the mana of one is enriched by the mana of all and the foundations of Legion have never been stronger.
