How do I tell massage therapists from "massage" therapists?
Post Body

Hey. I haven't had a massage since the pandemic. Now all my old therapists have moved away.

I did a search for massage therapists in my area. The results are suspicious. Lots of Instagram-type photos and vague phrases like releasing stress and finding a way to please all clients based on their needs. Also, the rates are higher than I'd expect. I know everything is more expensive this year... but still.

So a legit deep-tissue massage... what is the going rate for that? And how do I tell the difference between a person advertising that and a person advertising sexual services?
