Hi! Has anyone dealt with possible mold in their apartment bldg? I live in an older vintage bldg and I am smelling dirty sock smell in the air vents every time I turn them on. They just got installed about two months ago, brand new, but when it rains I had leaks in 2/3 ac vent. Now I am smelling this and it’s been getting stronger. I’m wondering if this could be mold? If so, what does one recommend to do? I was actually at a dr last week about random lung issues and my cats breathing has gotten worse the last year where she’s wheezing regularly when she sleeps and breathes. I’m wondering if this could be from mold? There’s also buckles in the wall next to my bed. My neighbor told me to test for mold myself before I go to my landlord. Has anyone dealt with this? Anyone recommend mold company? Thanks.
