SPOILERS! Out of character for Perse?

Does anyone else find it sort of out of character that Persephone wouldn't be more distraught about her killing spree?
She's got a good heart and is even stressed about the ethics of using her scholarship, but we haven't seen her very distressed about the killing spree.
I thought maybe she was somehow made to forget the whole thing, but Demeter brings it up at lunch with Hera-Persephone.
