I don’t know how else to title this..

My friend is on PC and I’m on PS5. As we were continuously being defeated by splurge (spurned progeny - we just call him splurge for some reason), we took a break for a day or two.

My friend (PC) got on Lords and decided to invade someone. He didn’t even see the lamp-bearer he invaded, and was there for a few seconds and then was kicked out of his server. Upon his return, I had joined him and continued on with the story to defeat splurge.

I noticed his gear was completely different, top notch gear, his health, stamina and mana bars were maxed out, and had 10 or 11 (whatever the max is) upgraded ravager Gregory’s sword, as well as other completely maxed out weapons, his strength, radiance, vitality, inferno, endurance, and agility levels were completely maxed out, AND had over 39 MILLION vigor.

He hadn’t noticed any of this until I brought to his attention that the gears and sword he was utilizing was new. And then we started putting the pieces together.

We were both stunned, and he’s assuming he got hacked perhaps? In any case, he just purchased a ton of vigor skulls with his vigor, dropped them for me and I was able to max out my stats and weapons as well.

We beat the game so fast and so easily henceforth.

We still don’t know how or why this happened.

Anyone have any idea how or why this would happen? Has this happened to anyone else? Someone please explain because it’s driving me insane.
