I love how the rules state to be respectful and civil, but the moment you criticize the game, all the fanboys get triggered and start talking the usual shit: "madcuzbad. Git gud. Skill issue."
Everyone who's played souls and soulslike games knows there are different types that play the game. Skill is always going to be an issue in these games. Everyone bases their opinions of a new game off of their experiences with other games. They compare and decide what they like and what they don't like. But the moment you publicly post a negative opinion, it doesn't matter what your criticisms are, the uber fanboys get mad and now you're automatically just bad at the game, regardless of anything else. You can beat an entire game 3 times, talk shit about it, and you're still bad at the game.
So you criticize someone's new favorite game and it's like you talked shit about their celebrity crush. They come out like simps and all they can say is the same old garbage. They don't post an actual, intelligent, counter-argument because they didn't actually let what you've said sink in. All they care about is you made a negative post about their new hypetrain game, so they get bigmad and start talking shit.
It's against the rules to be rude in your post, but it's okay to talk shit to the OP in the comments section? Why even make it a rule to be respectful and civil in the first place?
