Tips for newbie looking to purchase balloons for first time

Im considering getting my first set of balloons from balloon ace and was wonder what supplies you would recommend for just starting out.
For example ive discovered that if you want to save balloons for later you can use clips however the clips i found on etsy had expensive shipping and now im trying to find cheaper alternatives that will work.
What other things should i look into as well?
