Hi everyone. I'm (30F) and I really need your advice. 😞

The person (31M) I'm currently dating just opened up to me that he has HPV. We've been dating for 1 month now and decided that we want to be more serious with our relationship.

The conversation came up because I wanted us to both get tested before we officially become a couple and meet up for the first time in December. We live in different countries.

Full disclosure, I've already done the tests needed last month and my results are clear. I also got my 3rd dose of Gardasil 4 last month.

To be honest, I only have a general idea of what HPV is so I've been doing all the research I can do these past few days. I've also started interviewing my OB and other medical professionals about the virus.

I really want us to work. I want to give our relationship a chance. If there's any possible way to be with him without risking my health - I want to do be with him. But as I learn more, I'm getting scared, anxious, and asking myself is it worth risking my health?

I'm so confused right now on what's the next best step for me, him, and us.

I hope you can give me advice on how to have a conversation with him about his health and status plus what that means for us for an LDR setup.

Thank you.
