I know there have been a lot of these on here lately, but I searched and didn't see what I was looking for, so here's another presents question.
My SO and I have been dating for a little over a year now. In October my life gets super busy and I start working about 60 hours a week give or take, so I've started looking into holiday presents now. I know, I know - it's early. Two questions come into play here:
It's my SO's turn to visit me for the holidays. We'll be celebrating both Christmas (both of us) and Hanukkah (me). It's going to be his first Hanukkah and my family does all 8 nights. I know my parents will get him something for at least one night and my sister probably will too. Do I get him 8 presents? It's honestly not unconceivable that I would do that anyway but if it was for Hanukkah they would be eight small things. (I.e. a deck of cards, a candle, a framed picture... just little things to make him feel more included).
I've started looking into making a photo book of our last year or so. He always wants pictures of us, and I print them out and mail them to him, but he keeps talking about putting them all in an album with dates and locations. So I think that I'll do one starting with when we met and through our relationship thus far. My question about this is, if it were you, what would you like to see? I'm thinking about adding little anecdotes and the (very silly) story of how we first met and all of the things that happened in between. I'm just not sure if thats too much and if it should just be a book of photos.
