Long ago when I was starting my long distance relationship I had no where to go, no resources, and though I knew other people had this sort of stuff going on, there was no place to go. Then, I found here. I loved the people here and though it was INCREDIBLY small at the time (probably 1000 people or less then) I found good advice. I was active and asked to join the mod team.

It was Pudgekip and J-D that was doing the work when the work was much harder to do. It was them that gave me advice and lots of words of comfort. They have put in 5 years of dedication and service but have given 100's of years worth of advice and work into the actual subreddit (including the design) itself.

I wanted to shine a little light on them today because they just passed the 5 years as a moderator mark. So, thanks to you two for getting this community going and thriving and making it into what it is today.

For those that are curious. Pudgekip has been a mod since August 24th, 12:50am 2011. J-D has been a mod since August 27th 1:27am, 2011.
