Hello! So basically I'm new to this entire long distance relationship set-up. My SO and I had a bit of an unconventional relationship, where the beginning was very quick and very intense, and then I spent about a month actually living with him. Now I'm back home and we're in different countries (me in the USA and him in Europe).
We're going to try to make it work, and hopefully one of us will be able to travel and visit the other in the next few months. For now, all I want to do is make sure we keep our relationship and our communication strong. We have WhatsApp, Snapchat, Facebook, Skype...but neither of us are necessarily the best at actually using any of them.
I don't want to lose this relationship because we're not good at keeping in touch. I was wondering how much other people communicate with their long distance SOs - do you speak every day? Do you write letters? Do you plan specific times to speak?? What works best for you?
