Does anybody else go through an awkward phase for a few days after a visit has ended?

My SO and I met online, and so have only been around each other in person about 16 days of the 9 months we've been together. Most of the time, communication isn't a problem for us at all because it's pretty much all we've had.

But I'm noticing after his last visit that we've been really awkward. I think it might just be because of me (I'm super clingy in a normal relationship, so being long distance has been super hard on me), but it feels like he's acting "off" as well.

Just wondering if this is somewhat normal once the time together ends.
