Post Body

Hi! I'm 21 and I've never been out of the country let alone my own state very often. I've been friends with his guy in Quebec for about 5 years now and we both really want to see each other. The only thing is we both want to meet in his home area because

  1. I live in the rural south and It's not super safe for outwardly queer people
  2. He has an extra room in his place

I do not know what to do as far are steps of getting a passport really or how to evr save up money for a trip like this. I get paid 10/hr and I pay for my food for the house and gas to get to and from work. I'm disabled so I can't very well get another job around here cause the one job I have already pushes it on top of college.
Could anyone help here? I'm kind of anxious about all of this but I do want to go see him soon. He is one of my bestfriends and I really want to experience leaving the country in my life while I'm still somehwhat mobile.

(I also want to like surprise him with gifts or maybe go on dates... But he doesn't know that yet ;) )
