My 11 year old son was infected this month (he had it the first time Halloween 2021). His seems to be having weird lingering issues (punching sensation in his heart) so we took him to get checked out, EKG was normal. They rain a panel of blood work which they said came back normal but the ALT level range is 0-25 and his is 46! I've tried calling the office to get clarification, but so far they haven't called me back after leaving 2 messages. From a basic search it seems that the ALT level has to do with liver inflammation. They were trying to rule out MIS-C. I'm going to call again in the morning when they open, but in the meantime I thought I would ask you fine people for any feedback. Anybody have a kid with this issue, is this something bad or am I over-worrying? Almost double the normal range seems like a bad thing so I don't know how they can say it was normal lab.
