Inspired by the events of the last two weeks. Short background - just passed 10 months LC. Through trial and error had found medication that moved my mental functioning from about 30% to about 70%. The myriad of other stupid random symptoms were still present but that was certainly something. The last two weeks I have been right back to square one having made no changes in routine, diet, medication, etc.
Anyway over the last two weeks there have been some minor misadventures which I thought I would share because if you didn’t laugh you’d cry. I have:
Spent ages looking for my phone which was in my hand (actually can’t count the number of things I have looked for that were usually around where I started looking from);
Gone to the car and found I didn’t have my keys and I had locked the door to the house behind me;
Had a shower but forgot a towel;
Bought cigarettes (bad I know), unwrapped the packet, packet back in pocket, lit the lighter … no cigarette in my mouth;
Drove home tonight and panicked for a while when I couldn’t find my phone. Decided I must have left it behind so started driving back before realising I had been listening to music in the car the whole time … through Spotify … through CarPlay … through the plugged in phone …
The list is endless - but that’s probably enough for now. Anyone else have some marvellous misadventures to share?
