Playback Issues after recording guitar through scarlett

New to using a DAW, and everything was fine, but now any time I use my (please be nice) 2i2 with my guitar im getting this garbled cutting in and out hell scape of sound or lack of for playback. Can’t figure out what happened, please someone help
