Look, I get it, not every bar Logic dropped during his verse was super original, but there’s something everyone needs to understand. You can only come up with so many original bars or new ways of rapping about the same thing before it gets old. Logic disses the new generation of rappers in Homicide for this exact reason. They constantly say the same shit over and over and over. But, everyone is fine with it for some reason. Like, there are only so many ways to rap the line “I’ll fuck your bitch” before it gets old. The new generation raps about the same shit over and over and no one bats an eye. Logic does it once every few songs and people are up in arms. I get it, we expect a lot from Bobby because of his skill, but you try writing a rap about something that’s already been done to death and also sound original. I tried. Trust me, I did. And I stopped because I just started repeating myself. This isn’t me attacking anyone for having valid criticism. It’s just me expressing my opinion and frustration.
