I was just watching a 6ix hardknocktv interview and 6ix was saying how the first song they made for YSIV was technically Ordinary Day as it was a TITS era left over song (3 years old) but then he said he doesn’t consider that the beginning of the YSIV creation because Ordinary Day was a left over. He said Logic recorded Thank You in NY and that was the first purpose made YSIV song followed up by the Return. I remember Logic made a post (I think it was on his IG?) in mid 2018 asking his fans to send their voicemails to a number he had to be used for his next album (which turned out to be Thank You on YSIV) This gives us an interesting opportunity to make out when logic started making YSIV as I’m very curious to know how long he worked on the project for. We know BT2 was first started at mid 2017 on the everybody tour and released early 2018. I guess now with this discovery we know YSIV was started mid 2018 (I want to know which exact day lol, we can find this by when he made the voicemail post, it’s not a guarantee that he asked the fans the same day he began Thank You but it is the earliest confirmation for YSIV creation process we can have) and released late 2018 (I know logic says a lot of stuff, sometimes he says he made an album in 2 weeks, sometimes he says he has 5 albums recorded etc, I really want to know how much time he spent on making YSIV)
