I have a strong sentimental attachment to Logic’s early work. I found him on the month TITS came out and he was immediately there for me, wether be it him encouraging me to own my nerdy side on the BT1 press run era where he was solving Rubik’s cubes and talking Quintin Tarantino movies, or talking about the back story of TITS which was very Sci fi esc, or straight up being there for me with his vulnerable lyrics in his Young Sinatra mixtapes and Under Pressure. Lately I’ve been getting bored of him a little, nothing against him I appreciate him for being there for me when I needed him, but nowadays I feel like he’s stagnant both in subjects he talks about in interviews and songs and also art. So I’ve branched out and found some new pretty dope rappers like JID, Denzel, Nas, Joey, etc. I was wondering how do you guys find new rappers? And what do you look for in a new rapper?
