Our club has a padlocked gate to which only members have the combination. We replaced the lock last spring with a Master Pro Series, but have been having a lot of trouble with it freezing this winter. It took 10 minutes to get it open on Saturday morning with the temp being about -7f. All of the dials kept wanting to rotate together.
I figured this sub would be a great place to get a recommendation for a quality lock that will not give our members frostbite on their fingers trying to open it. I would like to keep it under $50, but am open to options a little more expensive if the value is there. Also, the lock must have the ability to have the combination changed by our members without requiring a locksmith, as we change the combo annually.
Thanks in advance!
