This is a key for an older building the business I work for leases. Building owners have no extra copies and don't want to pay for it to get rekeyed.
I have been told by a few businesses(Ace, A-Boy, Home Depot) that they can't make a copy.
The issue is the little tooth on the top portion of the key that makes it hard to copy. Is there any locksmith that could manage this or is it simply better to rekey the entire building?
This is in Portand, OR so if you happen to have a locksmith in the area that would be very helpful.

Regular hardware stores would not have the blank for this key. The key blank is restricted, meaning they will only sell it to licensed locksmiths. Some keyways are restricted to a certain customer, and nobody else could buy that key blank or the keyway cores. The grooves cut along the length of the key are in a pattern nobody else has access to.
