I work (1 year now) for what I assume would definitely be called a scamsmith company; they're all in Texas and they billed the gig as "uber for locksmithing", which a terrible way to sell a job if you've ever driven for uber.
I'm in California, and I'm told they're ~restructuring~ or some such, and we can buy into some kind of fractional ownership of the CA branch of the company; I can't help but think this is some loophole that's going to let them avoid...paying me right or giving me health insurance or something, and now they're demanding I get a locksmith company license to add onto my locksmith employee license.
Is it time to jump ship? My instincts are yes and also I hella do not want to drop another $500 on another level of licensing, considering how little they're paying me.
