Just bought the game, where do I find public lobbies?

Finished the tutorials and I'm in the lobby room, but when I click escape and go to the game tab, I don't see any sort of multiplayer just three options saying "quit the game" "quit the lobby" and "stop the session". Quit the lobby just reloads me where I am at and quit the session does nothing. Am I missing something?
