How would you mic a bedroom / hotel room?
Post Body

I did a shoot over the summer where I had to mic up a hotel room, for ambient sound, no dialogue. In the photos I clamped 2 Sony ECM-673 shotguns onto light stands and pointed them towards the middle of the headboard. Audio worked out really good. A few weeks ago I picked up two AKG PZM6 PZM mics for a different project and was wondering if I substituted the PZMs for the shotguns, placing one on each nightstand would be better for the style and location. Or just use all 4 mics and mix them later? (My camera can take in 4 channels natively)
