They know they can handle it, but the little guy just starting can't.
I had never seen this from this perspective.
As gpu chips advance, and as AI workflow advance, we will need les and less computation to reach gpt4 levels I believe (hence catching up)
I read the post from r/singularity, (the one I put in the screenshot), and people wrote it's also about "control" and being "the one" being to lead "safe AI" whereas others are not, hence the need to regulate it :/
Could regulation capture activity be sued? I learn about this term in the last 24H, don't know how weak are the companites doing it, in any case I am against regulation capture
What I meant is that regardless of AI, we are living in a world where we exchange informations every minute of the day (thourgh talking to people in real life), and none of the info collected thourgh those discussions can be consisdered as "reliable source of information"
why would be any different if the communications were not outisde but in internet? Also what tells you that internet is already a reliable source of information anyway?
That's why I reject your argument, althought I re read it it seems you are specifically talking about visual content only
but AI generated visual content could become so real that will turn the entire internet into an unreliable source of information, overnight.
Imagine that in the real world: When you speak to people outside, does it bother you that listening to people is an unreliable source of information?
How are we dealing with that?
This should get more upvotes and have its own post, with wider explanations
Yes but for now he is limited by GPU availability, thus him wanting to create new GPU entity apparently, once he get it then yes he will get his way yes
The real left
Interesting, so to weaken the real left, they pushed the bad one or "the fake left" and made it lose its purpose even worse, doing the opposite of what it entended.
Well that's the thing, new chips and good GPU (for AI) is all coming from the same entity: Nvidia. Sam want's to be independant from them (one day).
