Summary: A former matron of an orphanage that suffered a tragic fire. Surviving with newfound powers, she lives on the outskirts of Demacian territory, protecting children and families from the dangers at the edge of the wild as she avoids capture by the mageseekers.
Appearance
Originally, Brionne had brown, curly hair and dark skin. Due to the powers she’s gained, a bright orange streak of hair hangs in her face, straight and glossy. Her clothing is a simple skirt and blouse, with a frilled apron. She’s plump, but not overweight. Her footsteps leave little flaming footprints, though the flames don’t char the earth. A brazier of fire floats at shoulder-height, following her everywhere. She carries a shield, with a flaming heart drawn as if by a child on its front.

A woman wakes with a start, cold sweat in beads on her forehead and neck. Her hair is a tangled, damp mess, the morning dew sneaking its way into the tent she slept in. She had the dream again, the same one she had had since that awful night. The images of fire and the sounds of screams still echoed in her head as she wiped the sweat away from her face.
She draws herself out of her bedroll and stretches, before dressing in her travelling gear and stepping out of the tent. She was in the Greenfang Mountains, hiding from the mageseekers. The air was crisp and cold, but she did not feel it. The brazier, burning as bright and hot as it always did, floated gently in the air where she had left it last night. She packed up her tent and set off on her way, the brazier floating along behind her.
Brionne was the matron of a small Demacian orphanage, peacefully spending her time caring for wayward children. Unfortunately, a fire broke out, burning down the orphanage and killing all of the children inside. Brionne did what she could to save the children, but the doors had been blocked by the quickly collapsing structure. Somehow, Brionne survived, accompanied by a simply-decorated brazier with a fire inside, despite a lack of apparent fuel for the flame. Brionne initially blamed the fire on the brazier, but she found that the flame inside was incapable of setting fires, or even causing pain.
In addition to the brazier's company, she found that she could make the brazier do things, extraordinary things. At first she was terrified by the powers she had, fears fueled by the anti-magic propaganda that Demacia circulated. She went into hiding, living on the outskirts of villages on the edge of Demacian territory, trying to understand what had happened to her and why she had these powers. She wanders the edge of Demacian territory, watching over the children in the small, isolated villages this far from the alabaster city. She is careful to obscure herself though, using smoke to hide her face.
Children in the villages call her the hearth-mother. She enjoys the name, and the little gifts the children make for her. Unfortunately, the name has drawn the ire of the mageseekers, and she fears she may have to abandon the lands she grew up in.

Passive: Radiant Warmth - Allies that are with 600 units of Brionne for at least 4 seconds are Warmed, gaining 10% (1% per Brionne’s Level) attack speed while remaining near Brionne and for 1 second afterward.
Additionally, Brionne gains 4% bonus armor and magic resistance for each nearby ally.
Q: Smoking Cinders - Passive: Stores up to 3/3/4/4/5 charges.
Active: Fling a cinder at the closest enemy's location, prioritizing champions. R: Gather Round the Fire - Brionne designates a point as her Bonfire. For the duration, whenever she activates her Q, a Cinder is also flung from the Bonfire towards the enemy nearest to it without expending an extra Cinder charge, and whenever she activates her E, 5 projectiles are fired from the Bonfire as well. Additionally, in an area around the Bonfire, allies gain increased healing, including from regeneration. Enemies that pass through the Bonfire take magic damage. Enemies can only take magic damage from passing through a Bonfire once.
If Brionne travels too far from her Bonfire, it goes out early. Brionne generates Cinder charges twice as quickly while the Bonfire is active. Enemies hit by both Brionne’s and the Bonfire’s Cinder take half damage from the second Cinder to strike them.
