Post Body

So I’ve had a Yellow Uromastyx for a couple months and just upgraded his tank to a much larger one (48x18x18)and I’m having trouble getting the temperature right.

About 90 on the hot side

80 in the middle

And 72 on the cooler side

He current has 1 150w basking bulb, 2 ceramic heaters and 1 UVB

He was out and played and ran around for a cumulative 1.5-2 hours yesterday while constructing the tank. So after putting him back in, he kinda of walked around and looked at it and then went to his hiding spot to sleep. He slept in a way I’ve never noticed before. This morning I moved him from his hiding spot because I wanted to make sure he was okay and after about 10 minutes he went back.

I left him alone for the entire day because of Father’s day I wasn’t around and when I came back, his food bowl wasn’t even touched, which is very unlike him. He normally will destroy a serving of kale like it’s nothing, but he didn’t.

Does anyone have any ideas/tips?

TLDR: Moved Uro to a new tank, slept all day without eating. Temp is not regulating properly and wanting suggestions to add or fix current set up.
