So you want to get to Anfield but you have no idea how! Well, be prepared to read a bit, everything you need to know about buying tickets is in this thread.
Season Tickets
Unless you have one or have a family member with one already, Season ticket is off the table for around about another 30 years. The waiting list is closed, so you can't even get on that! Give up, it's not happening.
Away Tickets
Same story as Season Tickets, if you aren't already on board, you have a 0% chance of getting an away ticket from the club. Maybe look into supporters clubs? Your best chance would be looking into getting a ticket in the home stand. Sorry!

Realistically, will I get a ticket?
You should be able to get a ticket or two if you are organised and on time. If it's your first season, you will likely not get tickets to the 'big' games but you should be able to get some lower/mid table games.
It will be a stressful experience, wait times long and slow moving but it should be possible to get the odd ticket.
Who is this sale best suited for?
Mostly UK residents who plan on going to go a couple of matches throughout the season. Also, if you want to build up your credits to go to more matches in the future.
It's my first time, tell me everything I need to know
This is the best way to get legit tickets at face value. You'll need to know what games you want to get to, a long time in advance and take part in the most stressful 2 days of the year when the tickets drop but you should be able to get to a couple of games this way. Remember, that if you're buying a new membership that has no games attended credits, you won't qualify for the 'biggest' games of the season. If you want to go to a match like the Derby etc and don't want to build up your games attended, I recommend skipping to the Hospitality section.
Remember it is a membership per ticket, so if you want to buy another ticket for your friend they'll need a membership which you can then link together so you can buy in one transaction. (Scroll down a bit for more information)
Once you've got your membership sorted, you can look at getting a ticket. There are 2 members sales over the course of the season. One in July (first half of the season) and the second around November time (second half).
The final member sale is from 14th November 2017
Keep an eye out for when the general member sale is (no credits required) as this is when you'll be able to buy.
You'll need these links. The first is the official guide on how to use their buying system, the second is the ticket availability page and the third is the ticket buying website. The Tickets availability site will be the most useful as it will give you specific information on when they go on sale and what requirements are.
Good luck!

The Auto Cup Scheme allows Season Ticket holders and Members the opportunity to secure home tickets for Liverpool's season-wide cup campaigns. Once you've registered in the Auto Cup Scheme, you'll remain in it for as long as the team is involved in the competitions you've enlisted for. This includes domestic and European cup games. The auto-cup sells out pretty fast so you may be too late for this.

This scheme happens at the start of each season so you've missed it. Tune in next time for this!
Requirements:
- Season Ticket / Membership

Adding Family Members
You are able to buy two or more tickets through the site (and even if you want, have them right next to each other).
However, please keep in mind it is one ticket per one membership!
In order to buy a ticket for you and your friend for example, they have to be linked to you as "friends & family".
To link a user to friends and family, log-in HERE. After you have done this, you should see a page which looks like THIS. Then, fill in what it asks for (Membership Number and Surname). It will look something like THIS. Then simply select "Add me to their friends and family", then have your friend do the exact same, but your details instead.
If this is correctly done, you should see there name when selecting the owner of each ticket. SEEN HERE
Touts
Do not buy from Touts.
If you are viewing this before 14th November, you have plenty of time to buy a Legit ticket at a reasonable price. Buying from touts just enables them to continue operating and inflating prices.
Buying from touts / twitter / third party sites is dangerous and leaves you open to getting scammed. It does happen, a friend of mine was scammed out of x2 @ £90 per ticket last season.
International Fans
'I'm an International fan, how do I get to Anfield?'
I would recommend 2 ways to get there.
Hospitality. Expensive but will guarantee you a match ticket to any game of your choosing. You usually get a meal and a whole experience so it'll make the day even more special.
Look into local supporter groups, they may be able to help you out in terms of tickets. Some may even get an allocation from the club for certain matches.
If you have any more questions, please ask them in this thread, all other threads will be deleted and directed here.
Check the last thread and see if you questions have already been asked/answered.
